  1. INS-1E cells were cultured at 5.5 or 20 mM glucose in the absence or presence of palmitate for 48 hours. After culture, cells were lysed and protein profiled. Differentially expressed proteins by glucose or palmitate were identified by peptide mass fingerprinting. Mr and pI denote relative molecular mass and isoelectric point of the protein.
