Three different values of d are considered, ∞, 5Å and 7Å, color-coded in different colors. The bars in the top pannel (a) show the median l m of the l distribution of lRMSDs between two consecutive perturbed configurations. Those in the bottom pannel (b) show the percentage of consecutive distances within 5Å of each-other.
