Validation of glycoprotein LG3BP in different lectin subgroups by western blot. (A) The expression levels of LG3BP in ConA and LCH lectin subgroups from the serum of HCC patients and healthy individuals were detected by western blot. (B) The target band intensities were quantified by ImageQuantTL software. The band intensity ratio of HCC patients versus healthy individuals was 1.66 in the ConA subgroup and 0.66 in the LCH subgroup. (C) The mass spectrum of a glycopeptide, ALGFEN*ATQALGR, from glycoprotein LG3BP in the ConA subgroups. (D) The mass spectrum of the glycopeptide, ALGFEN*ATQALGR, from glycoprotein LG3BP in the LCH subgroups. The 18O/16O ratios (HCC patients versus healthy individuals) of these glycopeptides were 1.64 in the ConA subgroup and 0.61 in the LCH subgroup. *denotes the N-glycosylation site.
