  4. d) Protein score is-10*Log(P), where P is the probability that the observed match is a random event, it is based on NCBInr database using MASCOT Peptide Mass Fingerprinting searching program. When IT appears, it means that these proteins were identified by LC-MS/MS.
  5. e) + indicates an increase in protein expression and - indicates a decrease in protein expression in infected ticks.
