  1. The MS spectra of protein digests were used to search the NCBInr database using the ProFoundâ„¢ search engine. Protein names been assigned according to the Swiss-Prot database. Differentially expressed proteins (ratio > 2) that were up-regulated or down-regulated in response to LPS, mCRP or pCRP for 18 h are listed. The LPS, mCRP and pCRP columns correspond to the expression of each protein relative to its expression in control. Results presented are mean values for three independent analyses performed for each condition. The spot numbers (#) are identical to those given in Figure 2. cov: coverage.
