In the panels the overall mean (over time) serum amyloid-A (SAA), paraoxonase (PON) levels are demonstrated of the three calculated clusters (gray bars) and the two HDLc groups (white bars). PON levels showed only a statistical significant difference between the clusters whereas in the SAA levels no statistical significant differences were observed at all. The error bars indicate mean ± SEM. * Indicates a statistical significant difference p < 0.01, ** indicates p < 0.001 and NS indicates a non-significant difference.
