INS-1E cells were cultured at 20 mM glucose in the absence or presence of palmitate for 48 hours. After culture, cells were lysed and protein profiles obtained by SELDI-TOF-MS using Q10-array or by 2D-PAGE. Masses of differentially expressed proteins by SELDI-TOF-MS (11 first proteins) or by 2D-PAGE are listed. Gene names of identified proteins are indicated. Results are means ± SEM 4–6 independent experiments.
