Comparison of iTRAQ result and qRT-PCR analysis. iTRAQ ratios of regulated proteins in VPX compared with VPW were confirmed by qRT-PCR analyses. The comparison of the fold changes showed the directions of protein regulation and gene regulation were the same for the 6 representative proteins. The former 4 proteins were up-regulated at both protein level and RNA level, and the latter 2 proteins were down-regulated.
